Karvina isn't the kind of place you travel to. No spectacular landmarks. No stunning views. Mostly coal dust, concrete blocks, and a particular kind of silence that settles on a city when the industry that built it starts to die.
But we grew up there. And growing up in a place like that does something to you… something that takes years to understand. You learn early that nobody is coming to save you… You learn that if something is going to exist, you have to make it exist yourself. That hunger. That stubbornness. That refusal to disappear quietly… that's life in Karvina. That's in every track on this record.
Now here's the part that changes everything. Never in my deepest imagination I imagined that one day we'll be making hip hop tracks using AI… and here we're. These tracks were made with AI. Let's not hide the fact that all these tracks were created with AI. Said flat out. Anyway, I'm still blown away! The first tool in history that lets us with a bunch of stories and a laptop build a sound that didn't exist before just by using prompts. Incredible!
We fed it the atmosphere. The streets. The cold. The graffiti. The feeling of being 20 again in a mining city with too much time and not enough future. And it came back with something I couldn't have made any other way. Raw. Honest. Underground. Exactly like Karvina back in the day in the late 90's and beginning of 2000's.
Karvina Flashbacks II is the continuation. The story didn't end with the first album — it never really ends. You leave the city but it doesn't leave you. You build a life somewhere else but at 2am the streets come back. The faces. The walls. The cold air coming off the slag heap in November.

and decided to remember it anyway.
